How We Work
If you’re thinking of working with us, you’re probably wondering what you should expect from our service. Maybe you’d like to know a little bit more about the next steps involved in choosing Pro-Fix. We’re here to guide you through every step of your new installation: from choosing the product that’s right to you, to our professional and efficient installation service, and beyond. Here’s how:
We understand that inviting someone new into your home can be quite daunting. That’s why we wait for you to choose the time and date that is convenient for you when arranging your initial consultation. A member of our friendly sales team will visit you to discuss the product you are looking for. They will be informed, without being pushy, and able to tell you all about the different varieties of Pro-Fix products we offer. Finally they will take some simple measurements, which will enable them to accurately calculate your initial quote. You will then be left with this quote to make your decision. You won’t be bothered with repeated phone calls, but after a couple of days we will call you at a time that suits you best to discuss the quote and discover whether you want to work with us, and to answer any additional questions you may have.
During this period of contemplation, your initial quote and detailed requirements will be passed to the Retail Administration team, who will put together a more formal quotation. You should receive this by post no more than two days following your appointment. Alternatively we can email you this if that works better for you. We will always ensure you have this official and complete quote before we call you to discuss things further, so that we can ensure we are being as open and clear with you as possible.
We hope that you’ll decide to use Pro-Fix for your installation. If you do, we’ll draw up your Contract Agreement and then send a Surveyor to double check the initial measurements and run through the contract with you, so you can be reassured that it contains no hidden surprises. After survey we will organise a convenient installation date with you and order products required for your installation. During the course of the installation we’ll ensure we prepare your existing property and protect it (and keep it tidy) as we work. We’ll also send an inspector to visit the site to make sure everything is proceeding well. Finally, once the installation is complete, the team will tidy up after themselves and explain clearly how to operate any locks and handles etc. The fitting team will then ask for payment if other arrangements have not been made, for example, BACS transfer.

All of our products come with a 10 year guarantee, so in the unlikely event that you have any problems after installation you can simply contact our aftersales team, safe in the knowledge that we will deal with your problem as quickly and efficiently as possible, and work hard to find a solution that’s right for you.
